about us
Who We Are
and our technologies
Ash-TEK is a company dedicated to the development of patented technology for transforming ponded or landfilled waste coal fly ash into concrete-friendly ASTM ash that replaces up to 40% of Portland Cement while reducing the carbon footprint and lowering the cost. Our Ponded Ash Beneficiation System (PABS) is a lower cost solution which produces zero solid waste, lower emissions and provides highly consistent beneficiated Ash. The PABS provides the client with a mechanism to achieve regulatory compliance in a reasonable timeframe. Based on a preliminary chemical analysis we can determine if the landfilled ash deposit can be turned into a concrete-friendly ash.

WHO WE ARE VS.
Our Competition
Competition is advancing and while each has their own unique spin on the recovery of ponded or landfilled coal fly ash. Only Ash-TEK has been able to deliver consistent final product from a wide variety of ash sources with varying chemistries, sizes and characteristics. Ash-TEK is the only company capable of relocating its equipment from one facility to another and does not require deep foundations for operation.
Ash-TEK understands that for the process to work we must be capable, adaptable, portable and cost effective. Our knowledge of ponded ash has allowed us to create a system which addresses not only the chemical component but also the oxidation state and the particle size of the available raw material. Ash-TEK is not limited by variations in the ponded ash. Our very process is geared to addressing those variations which our competition seeks to avoid.
